Fairbanks House
This 1885 Italianate style villa sits on a sprawling property, beautifully landscaped with magnolias, moss covered oaks, and lovely rose gardens. Fairbanks House offers 8,000 square feet of space in the mansion itself, three quaint cottages, as well as a luxurious pool in a secluded garden off the loggia where a delicious breakfast is served daily. My favorite feature is its location, tucked into the outer edge of Historic Downtown Fernandina. Enjoy the peace and quiet or stroll into the center of town for shopping, drinks or dinner.

This 19th century house turned bed and breakfast inn is situated in the heart of Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach. The Blue Heron is known for its full concierge service including beach chairs, bottled water and daily afternoon Social Hour with complimentary wine. My favorite feature is their secluded garden with pool. It’s a perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or a great book.

From savory onion and potato galettes to fresh peaches and cream pastries to spinach and ham crepes, the breakfast offerings at Hoyt House are amazing. Their spacious and beautifully decorated rooms are lovely, and their garden with sprawling pool is perfect for lounging.

Amelia Island Williams House
This charming inn, comprised of three historic homes - The Williams House, The Hearthstone House and The Carriage House- is one of the oldest and most historic homes in Fernandina Beach. Built in 1856 by a Boston banker, The Williams House, has been named a Florida Heritage Landmark site. Beautifully preserved, with gingerbread details and a sprawling veranda, this inn is steeped in southern charm. Each room is beautifully decorated and guests enjoy homemade breakfast daily.
