Timoti's Seafood Shak
Timoti’s is my 1st choice for fresh seafood in a casual setting. Located in Downtown Fernandina Beach, Timoti’s is the perfect place to take a break from shopping and have a fresh poke-bowl or chopped salad with grilled shrimp. My husband loves their grouper sandwich and our son always goes for the fried shrimp basket with hush-puppies. Oh, and don’t miss their fried green tomatoes. They are truly decadent!

coquina
Set high on the dunes, with open air seating and sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, Coquina, at The Ritz-Carlton, is a wonderful choice for lunch, dinner or cocktails. I love their fresh ceviche with grapefruit pico de gallo. And don’t miss their Palomas. Made with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, the finest tequila, and sparkling water, it’s the perfect drink for your seaside lunch!

Sandbar Kitchen
There’s nothing quite like dining right on the beach. And at Sandbar Kitchen, you can do just that. The food at this casual eatery is just as fresh and local as the setting. It’s the perfect place to stop in for lunch after a morning on the beach. I recommend their grilled Mayport Shrimp (caught locally, where the St. John’s River meets the Atlantic Ocean) or the fresh fish sandwich. Oh and their Key Lime pie is worth every calorie!

Cafe Karibo
Cafe Karibo is one of my top recommendations. Their menu is varied and fresh, always offering the best burgers, the best salads and lots of great fish. Their cocktails are always delicious, and their desserts are not to be missed- made fresh daily by the owner herself! Enjoy your lunch in their courtyard with fireplace, outdoor garden or two-story, indoor dining room. Such a lovely setting!
